The Second Week

Hello Everyone!!!

Okay this week was really great I love being a trainer it is so much fun! My baby girl Sister Keung really is so amazing. We have been biking all over the place and having lots of fun. This week was a bit hard as most of our investigators we had dropped and so we are now searching again for the prepared ones. Please pray that we will be lead to them or they will be led to us. We need to find the prepared. President Day has promised us if we work and be a preach my gospel missionary we will be blessed to have a baptism every month. We need a miracle. We need the prepared. So for this week I need to clear up quickly MY COMPANION SPEAKS ENGLISH. okay last week I was joking around and apparently the email telling you she does didnt get sent. YES the Lord is not challenging me that much. :) She is awesome and super dilligent in studying this language.

We were contacting one night this week and had just rang some doorbells to a big builiding that all turned us down and we turned to leave we sayed a prayer to know where to go and I asked Sister Keung to lead. At first she was super scared and turned to me and said, "I dont know where to go." I smiled and said the most annoying line ever, "follow the Spirit" She turned and started off. I began to pray for her to know where to go. WE turned down a road I have knocked before I smiled and she pulled over. Locked up our bikes and I asked which door. I assumed we would ring more doorbells cause its a easy way to talk to tons of people. She surprised me and instead said, I kinda think this house here. Inside was a huge buddist altar, I said alright. Lets ring their doorbell. A woman and her husband we were watching tv inside and let us in. WHAT?!?! We shared briefly with them about prayer and our purpose (we only had a few minutes till we needed to be home) and were able to have lesson with them. Miracle. So cool I know I can trust her to listen to the spirit and know what to do what to say where to go.

Also we are finding so many people from the Phillapeans that are SUPER prepared for the gospel. We meet a woman one night and were able to get her phone number we called back and she texted us immediately saying I am in the hospital with the woman I am caring for. Can you come see me and gave the room number. We left right then to go find the hospital. Turns out it was the hospital we had been spending most of the day at contacting coinsidence ma? No. We are led. and when we got there we found out that this daughter is really struggling but wants to change. She wants to do what God wants her to. Please pray for her her name in Alin.

We were visiting a member. It was Sister Keungs first time leading the lesson of the Restoration as we retaught it to her and invited her to make a family mission plan to share this message with others. We left and were off to go eat dinner. We got to where we needed to turn and I knew where we needed to go but I felt like we should stop and think about where we should go for a minute. We paused maybe 30 40 seconds when a man pulled up beside us and asked if we were lost. We explained no we are missionaries here and were just stopping for a second. He became very curious about our message and stopped and listened. We invited him to come to church and he did!

In Sunday School I am often a little sad at the unpreparation that goes into it from our teacher a returned missionary. It makes me sad as our investigators tell us it was boring and unorganized and they dont return. But yesterday a convert Brother Cai prepared a lesson on the atonement. He had us compare what it is like to get into debt with a credit card and how we would need someone to help pay the debt but it couldnt be just anyone it had to be someone who had the money to who loved us and that we would then be in debt to them. he then showed a film displaying this concept. He pulled from his bag a huge onion. Then looked at us all and said. Because I love you all. I will take one bite of this onion for each of you (I didnt understand the chinese he said of why he needed to eat the onion for us) but he bit into the raw onion. Another. another. Our eyes began to burn from the smell of it and his began to water. anyway you all get it It was really moving. And I really think our investigators started to get the atonement. He bore a powerful testimony of Christ and his atonement. It was awesome!

Well those are some fun stories thought I would share with you all. I love you all tons hope youre doin great!!!! Have a wonderful week!
